  • High-speed blender


  • 1/3 cup peeled + chopped raw beet 
  • 1 ⅓  cup frozen organic strawberries OR frozen cherries OR frozen raspberries (if using fresh fruit, add ice; recommend organic strawberries or cherries as these fruits make the Dirty Dozen list)
  • 1/2 ripe, frozen banana
  • 1/3 cup organic apple juice  (recommend organic as apples are on the Dirty Dozen list, and pesticides concentrate when made into juice)
  • 1/3 cup water
  • fresh mint or flaked coconut (optional)


  • Add beet, strawberries, water, and apple juice to a blender and blend on high until creamy and smooth.
  • Divide between two serving glasses and enjoy!
